LIRR has partnered with the New York International Auto Show, taking place March 30 through April 8 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, to offer Long Islanders a getaway package with savings of up to 30% off. The special deal is part of the LIRR’s 2018 New York City Getaways and includes discounted round-trip rail to Penn Station and admission to the Auto Show.

The 2018 New York International Auto Show will showcase the latest in innovation and design with more than four floors filled with nearly 1,000 cars and trucks from automakers based all around the globe. Concept cars will also be on display, giving guests a glimpse into would-be, futuristic automobile models. Come join in on the fun at North America’s first and largest-attended auto show dating back to 1900.

Package Prices:

  • Adult pricing starts at $31.00 per person, per day.
  • Children (ages 5-11): $7

LIRR package tickets are available at staffed ticket windows and full-service ticket machines. Buying Tickets at LIRR Gray, Green or Blue Ticket Machines: Press the “Getaways/Packages” button on the first screen, then select NYC Getaways, then the button for your package or deal. Pay with credit cards or ATM/debit cards. Gray and green machines also accept cash.

Travel Information from Penn Station:

Address: Javits Center, 34-39th Streets & 11th Avenue

Once you arrive at Penn Station, the Javits Center is a three-block walk west to 11th Avenue. A New York City Transit Bus option is also available via the M34 westbound bus, boarding at 34th St. and 8th Ave. (MetroCard and additional fare required).
