MNR Service for Presidents’ Day Weekend

The American presidency and railroads have a long history together. From Abraham Lincoln's construction of the Transcontinental Railroad as a show of national unity, to Harry S. Truman's 28,000-mile, 350-speech "Whistle-Stop" tour of America, there is perhaps no greater symbol of American ingenuity and endurance than the railroads.

This Presidents' Day, as our nation commemorates America's highest public office, the Metro-North Railroad is offering details about service for Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 19, and for the long holiday weekend that begins on Friday, February 16.
