On the Connecticut side of the tracks, an elevator and redesigned stairwell provide a new means of access from Westchester Avenue directly to the platform. On the New York-bound side, a new ramp has been constructed adjacent to an existing staircase, which provides direct access to the train station parking lot from Westchester Avenue. Both of these improvements help the station to meet standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
